2024-2025 Co-Op Classes

Homeschool Co-Op classes are a cooperative learning environment. Parents stay and assist in the classroom as teachers or helpers. It is not a drop off activity. Classes are taught by parent volunteers who have the knowledge base in the subject area taught. Subjects included each year are determined by parental feedback, based on the needs of students in the given year.
Elementary aged students: have shortened class times and three classes. This includes a time for structured socialization and play.
Middle School and High School students will continue to have longer class periods with 2 class offerings.
All of our classes are designed to be engaging and interactive, providing students with an opportunity to build relationships while learning.

Co-Op classes are held every Thursday morning throughout the school year in Adrian, Michigan.
Co-Op classes begin on Thursday, September 5, 2024, and run through April 17, 2025
There are no classes on:
November 28, 2024 (Thanksgiving)
December 13, 2024 through January 8, 2025 (Christmas Break)
February 27, 2025
(Mid-Term Break)
Fees

Nursery 2024-2025
The fees for co-op are two-fold.
There is an annual family fee of $40 for participation in co-op classes.
In addition, each individual class fee is based on materials and copies needed.
Parents may be asked to supply experiment components or craft supplies.
Some higher level classes may require books to be purchased.
All Co-Op Families are required to become members of LIFE.

Loving moms will nurture our smallest learners in our nursery room where they will enjoy free play and exploration.

Ages 4-5 will explore living books with story, song, games, and crafts. Our littlest learners will also learn the way the learn best, through free play. Third class period will explore the world of Dr. Seuss.

Because Relationships are so important, not only for our children but for moms as well, we have 2 monthly opportunities for building these friendships.
We will
host a Potluck & Fellowship every 2nd Thursday of the month. Families are encouraged to bring a dish to pass and stay for fellowship time together. Each month will have a “Theme” and families will bring dishes to pass based on their last name.
We will be having a Social Time following Co-Op on the 4th Thursday of each month. Families are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and favorite board games to co-op. Families are able to eat a meal, play games and visit.
